Rev. Mrs. Helms died at the residence of her father, Rev. Preston, Tuesday evening of tuberculosis and the funeral was held at the Methodist church Wednesday afternoon. Rev. Ginn preached the sermon. Mrs. Helms recently returned from travels in Europe with her husband. Every means known to science had been exerted to stay the ravages of the dread disease but to no avail. The husband and relatives have the sympathy of the entire community.
