Joseph Fiorello, 64, 1232 Clover Avenue, died at 6:45 o'clock last night in St. Anthony's Hospital after suffering a heart attack while at work at Mechanics Universal Joint Company yesterday afternoon.
He was born at Vallelunga, Italy, and came to this country in 1902. He lived in Louisiana until 1922 when he came to Rockford with his wife, Rosalie. He has been employed by Mechanics Universal Joint Company since 1922.
Surviving besides his widow are five sons, Charles and Joseph, who live at home, Frank, a corporal in the south Pacific, Roy, a corporal in the Army air forces stationed in Oklahoma, and Louis, a private first class, also in the south Pacific; two daughters, Mrs. Rosalie Lombardo and Mrs. Loretta Lombardo; three grandchildren, Joseph Fiorello, Annette Lombardo and Janet Rose Lombardo; a brother, Frank Fiorello, who lives at 309 Wall Street and a sister, Virginia Costanzo, Amite, La.
Funeral arrangements are held up pending the arrival of his son, Roy. He was a member of St. Anthony's Church.

Funeral services for Joseph Fiorello, Sr., 64, 1232 Clover Avenue, who died Monday night at St. Anthony's Hospital, will be held at 9 a.m. Thursday at the home and at 9:30 a.m. at St. Anthony Catholic Church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. There will be a rosary service at the home at 7 o'clock tonight. Arrangements were completed at Gasparini & Oliveri Funeral Home, 824 Sanford Street.
