Joseph Fiorello, 69, 811 Loomis St., died at 3:45 p.m. Monday, March 26, 1979, in America Nursing Center after a long illness.
Born, May 14, 1909, in Gonzales, La., son of Joseph and Rosalie Fiorello. Lived in Rockford, coming here from Louisiana. Married Anna Gullotto in Rockford, June 10, 1934. Employed by City of Rockford Street Department for 28 years. Member of St. Anthony Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife, Anna; a son Joseph, Rockford; four brothers, Charles, Deltona, Fla.; Frank, Amite, La.; Roy, Rockford; and Louis, Madison, Wis.; two sisters, Mrs. Loretta Lombardo and Mrs. Rosalie Lombardo, both of Covina, Calif.; two grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Services at 8:30 p.m. Thursday, March 29, in Gasparini & Oliveri Funeral Home, 707 Marchesano Drive, and at 9 a.m. in St. Anthony Church, with the Rev. Leo Dumbrowski, pastor, officiating. Burial in Calvary Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday. The rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m.
