Wilbur C. Owen, 62 of rural Kahoka, died Thursday, Oct. 16, 1969 at 3 p.m. following surgery in Blessing Hospital at Quincy. Mr. Owen was born near Ballard, April 1, 1907, a son of Maurice and Lilly M. Egbert Owen. He married Ardeth Webster, Sept. 15, 1935 in Kahoka. He was a member of the Kahoka Baptist Church and was director of the Clark County Fair. He was engaged in farming near Antioch. Surviving are a widow; a son and daughter; his mother Lilly Owen of Williamstown; a sister, Mrs. Martin (Maureen) Pierce of Williamstown and three grandchildren.
