WATSON, THELMA "BRIT" POLLARD - 92, of Strawberry Plains, passed away at Life Care of Jefferson City on Sunday, June 16, 2013. She was truly one of God's Angels and is now walking on the streets of gold. She was a faithful member of Paw Paw Hollow Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, William "Bill" G. Watson; son, Ronnie Watson; parents, William and Mary Pollard; sisters, Lola Snyder, Gladys Pierce, Willie Hoskins Harmon, Lillian Pollard and Nellie Dykes.

She is survived by her children, Don (Imogene) Watson, Nancy Watson, Wanda (Jimmy) Petty; grandchildren, Sherrill Watson, Dacia (Jason) Scalf, Eric (Kindra) Watson; great grandchildren, Brylin Watson and Jason Scalf, II; step grandchildren, Tayler, Alesha, Shayla and Lainey; step great grandchild, Gracie; sister in law, Mary Francis "Girlie" Watson several nieces and nephews.


Special thanks for all the cards and prayers from everyone. A special thanks for the love shown to our mother by the employees, residents, and their families at Life Care and Smoky Mountain Hospice. We love you all. Funeral service 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at Fielden Chapel with Rev. Ronnie White and Rev. Roger Smith officiating. Interment 11:00 a.m. Wednesday in Eastview Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 5:00-7:00 p.m. prior to the service at Fielden Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Paw Paw Hollow Church Building Fund or the Life Care of Jefferson City Activity Department. Arrangements by Fielden Funeral Home.
