Mrs. Edward E. Webber, a resident of Waseca for more than 40 years, died last Thursday afternoon. She had been an invalid for more than three years, death resulting from complications due to a paralytic stroke. Adeline Nancy Tryon was born at Glenea, Iowa, on July 29, 1865. Her marriage to Edward Earl Webber took place in Waseca on Sept. 12, 1889, and this city has since been her home. Her husband preceded her in death on Jan. 19, 1928. The surviving children are Mrs. E. A. Kletschka, Francis, Percy and Clarence Webber, Mrs. A. P. Foss and Miss Ethyl Webber, all of Waseca. There is also one surviving sister, Mrs. A. J. Somers of Winona, and 16 grandchildren. Deceased was a home loving woman and the comfort and welfare of her family were always uppermost in her mind. She was patient and cheerful during her long illness and won the love and esteem of her family and friends, who sincerely mourn her death. The funeral took place Saturday afternoon. The services were conducted at Calvary Episcopal church, of which deceased had been a member. Rev. C. J. Gunnell officiated and the remains were laid to rest in Woodville cemetery beside those of her husband. The pall bearers are Dr. F. W. Prail, Alvin Minske, Albert Becken, Mike Weller, Willard Lortis and John Weller. Among those from out of town in attendance were Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Somers and P. D. Somers and family of Winona; Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Myers of St. Peter, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Tryon of Morristown, Frank Lambert, Mrs. T. W. Glines and Mrs. Frank Garrish of Minneapolis and Mr. and Mrs. Olson of Glenville.
