BETTENDORF - Services for Dennis E. Welch, Bettendorf, will be 7 p.m. Thursday at Cunnick-Collins Mortuary, Davenport. Visitation is 5 p.m. until service time. Burial will be in Oakdale Memorial Gardens, Davenport. Mr. Welch died Monday, Dec. 2, 2002, at Genesis Medical Center-West Campus, Davenport, after an extended illness. He was employed in the kitchen at Handicapped Development Center, Davenport, and was employed as a newspaper carrier for the Quad-City Times. For the past several years, he was the primary caregiver to both of his parents. He was born Feb. 18, 1965, in Davenport. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society. Survivors include his mother, Elaine Welch, Bettendorf; sisters, Carol Allen, Davenport, Sharon Wakeland, Charlotte, N.C., and Joyce Bettis, Bettendorf; and brothers, Gary, Don and Randy, all of Davenport, Ron, Mexico, Mo., Roger, Lowden, Iowa, and David, Bettendorf.
