Minister Micheal Elvert Clopton, Jr., was born on June 16, 1976 to Mary Foster and Micheal Elvert Clopton, Sr., in Decatur, Alabama. He went home to be with the Lord on December 27, 2012.

Micheal leaves to cherish his memories: a loving devoted mother, Mary (Benny) Foster of Huntsville, AL; a devoted step-father, Benny Foster, a loving father, Micheal (Earnestine) Clopton Sr.; five sisters, Felicia Mitchell, Brenda Campbell of Huntsville, AL, Yashika Hill and Evelene Lampkin both of Decatur, a sister that preceded him in death, Alisha Clopton-Davis; a special devoted sister, Julie (Manifest) Entity of Omaha, Nebraska; one brother, Joshua Shackleford of Savannah, GA; three devoted brothers of service, Joseph McCrary, Darrin Davis, and Joe Patterson all of Huntsville, AL; six nieces, Samantha Nicholson, Shikinah Sharpley, Gabrielle Sharpley, Bianca Campbell, Tymeisha Campbell, and Saniya Davis; six nephews, Rashadis Nicholson, Joshun Shackleford, Ahmad Pointer, Alejondro Chunn, Manoah Hill, and Latreyvion Davis; two great-nieces, Miracle and Kendal, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 31, 2012, at the Pentecostal Lighthouse Church (6107 Blue Spring Road, Huntsville, AL 35810) with Dr. Johnny Burrell officiating. Interment will be in the Meadowlawn Garden of Peace. Mr. Clopton will lie in repose one hour prior to funeral time.

Public Viewing will be held from 9:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 30, 2012; and from 8:30 a.m. until 9:15 a.m. on Monday, December 31, 2012, at the Royal Funeral Home.
