Mrs. Hanna Allen, 57, Dies in Arcola
Mrs. Hanna Allen, 57, widow of Dr. Elmer S. Allen, died in her home here at 3:30 a.m. Saturday after three years' illness.
She was born June 16, 1883, and had lived in Arcola since her marriage to Dr. Allen in 1905. Dr. Allen died June 25, 1935.
She was a member of the White Shrine, the Order of Eastern Star, the Past Matrons society and the Methodist church. She leaves two children and two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday in the Arcola Methodist church. Until the funeral hour the body will remain in the Shrader funeral home. Burial will be in Arcola cemetery.
