Geraldine Faye Biederman, daughter of Emma Jensen and Victor Olsen, was born on April 5, 1929. She departed this life on February 11, 1980 at Nashville, Nebraska at the age of 50 years, 10 months and 2 days as a result of an automobile accident.

Geraldine graduated from the Audubon High School and from the University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls. She taught in the public schools at Brayton, Glidden, Kirkman and Harlan and was presently teaching gifted children in the Council Bluffs Schools. On January 18, 1953, she was united in marriage to Donald Biederman at Audubon, Iowa, and to this union five children were born.

Mrs. Biederman was preceded in death by her father.

Survivors include her mother, Mrs. Emma Olsen, her husband, Donald, of Blair; three daughters, Mrs. Roxanne Wageman of Knoxville, Iowa; Mrs. Robyn Johnson of Omaha, and Miss Rebecca Biederman of Blair; two sons, Don Biederman of Washington, Iowa, and Mark Biederman of Omaha. She is also survived by three grandchildren, Michaela, Harmony and Jade; and by other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held Monday, February 11, 1980 at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Audubon, Iowa, with Rev. Robert Kruger officiating. Burial was in Audubon’s Maple Grove Cemetery with Marvin Nissen, Fred Nissen, Alan Beck, Bill Beck, Leroy Pedersen and Leroy Christensen serving as casket bearers.
