Frank Gordon Neely, 72, was called home on Monday, June 3, 2013. Memorial service: 4 p.m. Monday, June 17, at Bethany Christian Church. Committal service: 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 18, in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. Frank was born Sept. 15, 1940, in Orange, Texas, to Lemuel Frank and Annie Laverne Duncan Neely. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Frank retired as manager for a convenience store and was a former firefighter for the city of Beaumont. He enjoyed nature, birdwatching, fishing, and camping. He would do anything for his grandchildren and enjoyed spoiling them. Survivors: Wife, Rosalyn Kay Neely; stepson, Rick Scheulen and wife, Tammy, of Bastrop; grandchildren, Nicole Babiarz and Richard Scheulen; great-grandson, Andrew Hammond; brother, George Neely and wife, Hazel, of Houston; sisters, Paula Comeaux of Webster, Mary Bickley and husband, Charles, of La Porte, Faye Cuellar and husband, Joe, of Beaumont and Karen Watt and husband, Cliff, of Lubbock; and numerous nieces and nephews.
