January 31, 1921 - June 3, 2013 Hector L. Bacigalup, 92, of Sherman Oaks, died at the Canyon Oaks Rehabilitation Center on June 3, 2013. Hector was a fighter pilot in World War II, flying P-51 mustangs, and worked in the aerospace industry. He married the love of his life, Robin, and the two maintained a deep affection and appreciation for each other throughout their lives.

Hector and Robin enjoyed dining at fine restaurants and going for drives in their sports cars. He was one of the sweetest men this world has seen and took wonderful care of his wife as her health failed.

Hector is survived by two brothers, as well as cousins and friends who will remember him with admiration and love. He is preceded in death by his wife Robin Desmarets Bacigalup. There will be a funeral service and burial at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, June 14th at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Glendale.
