3 WEEK ILLNESS FATAL TO WILLIAM J. SCHREMP
"William J. Schremp, 58 of 201 W 15th St, a member of a widely known Lorain family, died this morning at St. Joseph Hospital after a 3 week illness.
A native of Lorain, Schremp was a brother of Paul E. Schremp of Amherst, USW District 28 director, who came to Lorain today from New York City where he was participating in new contract negotiations between the USW and the steel industry.
Mr. Schremp was employed at the Lorain Eagles Club and was a member of St. Joseph Church.
He is survived by a daughter, Miss Shirley Mae Schremp of New York City; two other brothers, Albert and Nicholas both of Lorain; and three sisters, Mrs. Jacob Baker, Mrs. Joseph Kutting and Miss Virginia Smith all of Lorain. Friends may call beginning tomorrow evening at the Reichlin Cooley Funeral Home 2920 Broadway. Funeral services have been tentatively set for Monday morning."
