Sarah Baldwin (in some sources called "Sally") was born in Essex Co., NJ to Gabriel Baldwin and Rebecca Little. Sarah Baldwin married William Wright and they moved from Essex Co., NJ to Butler Co., OH, to Cass Co., Michigan.
They were one of the original settling families of Cass County. The family was known for their fine breed of horses. Sarah and William are buried on their son-in-law's farm, which since was sold.
