A mass of requiem was sung in
St Peter's Church at I:JO o'clock
this morning by the Rev. Father
James K. Bennett at services for
Moses J. Rock. 80, who passed awsy
here on Sunday. The funeral was
held from his home st 400 Clinton
avenue st 9 a. m.
Bearers were Raymond. Leo snd
Fred Rock and William Terrier.
Plovers were sent by officers
and employes of Great Meadow
Prison, relatives and friends. The
body was placed In St Peter's vault
until spring when burial will be
made at Morrisonville.

Moses J. Rock, 80, Passes
At Daughter's Home Here
Moses. J. Rock, 80, retired mason,
Hied suddenly of a heart attack
early yesterday morning at the
home of hts daughter, Mrs. William
J. Terrier of 400 Clinton avenue.
He had been in poor health for
the last few years. Mr. Rock had
been a resident here for 15 months
He was born at Schuyler Falls,
October 6. IS50, a son of the late
Mr. and Mrs Joseph Rock. Most
of his life had been spent at Com
stock although for five years prior
to coming to this city he resided
with his sou in Comstock.
Mr. Rock was a member of St.
Peter's Church. His wife, the late
Mary E. Maggie of Redford, whom
he married in 1868, died in 1913.
Surviving, besides the daughter
with whom he made his home, are
three sons, Krrd J. of Morrisonville,
Raymond H. of Cadyville and Leo
M. of Comstock; a sister, Mrs. Napol-
eon Trombley of Morrisonville,
and two brothers. Henry of Morrison
ville and Edgar of Saranac
Lake. There are 13 grandchildren
and 23 great-grandchildren.
