ROSE, Walter Curtis A NEW TRAIL...Walter Curtis Rose, age 76 earthly trail ended January 7th, 2013 and he was received by Our Lord beginning a new trail..Born in Campton, Kentucky on June 25th, 1936..Walter.."The Traveler".."The Bicyclist".."The Hiker".."The Photographer".. His love for travel took him to Europe, entire U.S., doing missionary work in Peru, Mexico, Costa Rica, serving eight years with a Ministry in U.S., Canada, and Israel..Hiking the Appalachian Trail, Biking Cross Country and Always Photographing..Walter is survived by his loving wife Marcia, Sons Steven (Sandy), Brian (Cona), David (Jessica) and Douglas Kirkland. .Grandchildren Kelly, Anna, Matthew, Jared, Nate, Audrey, Will, and Ashley (Jacob) Abrams..Sisters Bess Miller, Norma Profitt, & Wendell Rose..Retired from Chrysler Corporation and served proudly in US Army in Germany..Walter was a member of Towne Boulevard Church of God, in Middletown, Ohio..He is preceded by his parents Ernest & Viola Rose in Campton, Ky.. Burial will be at Woodland Cemetery, Dayton, Ohio..Visitation will be Thursday 6 PM to 8 PM with Service Friday 1:00 PM at Towne Boulevard Church of God, 3722 Towne Boulevard, Middletown, Oh.
