Taggart, Ralph Joseph (Retiree of Wolfe Island) Just 21 days short of his ninety first birthday. He lived his life on Wolfe Island, passed away peacefully at Providence Manor with his family by his side on Thursday, September 24th, 2009 where he received wonderful care for the past six years. Beloved husband of Mary Johnson (2004). Loved father of Edmund (Anne), Therese Neuper (Harold) all of Wolfe Island, Eileen Biss (Paul) of Kingston; predeceased by his sons Hugh, William and Vincent. Sadly missed by his 14 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren; predeceased by 2 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Dear brother of Carmel Priest (Don, deceased) and the late Veronica (Al) McNamme. Predeceased by parents William and Nora (nee Greenwood). Remembered by his daughters-in-law Cindy and Theresa Taggart and many nieces and nephews. Friends were received at the Gordon Tompkins Funeral Homes on Sunday, Sept 27. Mass of Christian Burial was held in Sacred Heart of Mary Church, Wolfe Island on Monday September 28th. Rite of Committal parish Cemetery. Donations in Ralph's memory to the Wolfe Island Medical Clinic, Building Fund or to UHKF Providence Site.
