Death of GEORGE F. CASEY

The funeral services of George F. Casey of Des Moines, were held on Tuesday at the home of his mother, Mrs. Saml. Murphy. He was injured on November 30th, 1921 when the automobile in which he was riding, was struck by a street car. Mr. Casey suffered a fractured collar bone, broken nose, broken right leg and injured jaw. He died on Sunday at a hospital in Des Moines.

George Casey was a native of Winterset, attended our public schools, and learned the printers' trade here. He has been following that business in Des Moines for several years, being employed on the Daily Capital.

Mr. Casey visited this office a few weeks ago, was in excellent health and enjoying life. His companion in the accident, D. W. Wheeler, was not critically injured, although badly hurt.

Besides his mother, a sister, Mrs. Emma McDowell and a brother, Walter, all of Des Moines survive him.
