Randall Lee Rhodes, 63 years of age, passed away June 6, 2013. Randall was born January 23, 1950 to Curtis and Hattie Kay Rhodes in Natchitoches. He is a 1968 graduate of Provencal High. After graduation, he was drafted into the U.S. Army and served in the Vietnam War. After being honorably discharged from his service to his country, he worked construction for Brown & Root in Colorado and Texas. He worked as a maintenance supervisor and transferred to the Dolet Hills Mine in Armistead, where he eventually retired. He also served as a reserve Bossier Parish Sheriff's deputy. He made his home in Provencal and was a long time member of the Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing with his dogs; Muffy and Jazz and playing his guitar.
He was a loving son, brother, father, uncle and grandfather.
He is survived by his four children; eleven grandchildren; brother and his wife of Bonita Springs, FL; nephews and nieces.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Curtis and Hattie Rhodes; brother, Larry Rhodes and his brother in law, Don Rachal.
