She was born August 7, 1924 to Charles and Florence Zeimantz in Reardan, WA,

She was the third of four children. The family lived in Colfax, WA when Patricia was very young and then moved to Spokane. Patricia attended St. Augustine's Catholic School through 7th grade, and then went to St. Ann's School in 8th grade. She attended Marycliff High School until the family moved to Deer Park her Junior Year. Patricia graduated from Deer Park High School in 1942. After graduation, she attended Central Washington University for one year. Patricia moved back to Spokane and worked at Standard Oil and Merrill Lynch. After a few years, Patricia moved to Hollywood, CA and worked at Bank of America as a teller. She married Roy Weipert in 1950, raising seven children. Roy and Patricia moved around the U.S. during the first 25 years of their marriage. Roy's job with Bechtel Corp. took them to many states including Arizona, California, Michigan, Mississippi, Indiana, Connecticut and Washington. After Roy retired, they moved back to Spokane and their roots. In retirement, Patricia and Roy enjoyed fun bus trips to Reno with the Rambling Rovers group. They also took trips together to Hawaii, Las Vegas, Europe and enjoyed a few ocean cruises. A top highlight was hearing the Pope say Mass at the Vatican in Rome. Patricia and Roy loved to dance to big band music and enjoyed going to the "Tea Dances" at the Davenport Hotel on Saturday afternoons. Also, they had many happy memories of times spent with their friends at the VFW. Patricia enjoyed her beloved crossword puzzles, Wheel of Fortune/Jeopardy, and looking after her grandchildren. She moved to Maplewood Gardens in 2010 and had fun playing Bingo, and being in the company of the other residents. Patricia was a member of St Anthony's Catholic Church for 35 years where she was part of Catholic Daughters and the Altar Society. Also, she volunteered many hours at Sacred Heart Hospital. Patricia will be remembered as friendly, kind, loyal and interested in the well-being of others.
