On April 24, Sister Mary M. York, beloved wife of Bro. Chas. Perry, passed from this life, at the home of Bro. and Sis. Chris. Hill. She came from her home at Touchwood Hills about a month before, suffering from lung trouble. She was in her 39th year. Besides her sorrowing husband she leaves eight children, two step children, as well as sisters, brothers, and many friends to mourn their loss. Sister Constantine, Sister Maud York, and old Bro. and Sister York of Innisfail, Alta. and Sister Lizzie York, of Beamsville Bible School, were at the death bed of our sister. "Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord." --J. L. S. The Bible Student, July 1909, p. 8
