His father died in Coldwater, Mercer Co, OH on December 14, 1866, & was buried in the Frank Cemetery.
On June 17, 1870, George, age 10, lived with his mother, Nancy,age 37, in Newtonia, Newton Co, MO. Nancy owned land valued at $1500 & personal wealth of $300. George's siblings were Priscilla J., age 16; Rosa L., 14; Amanda, 13; Evangeline, 8; & Williamson, 3. All were born in OH.

"George Geller and Miss Emma Tanner were married Sunday evening, May 3rd. The wedding took place at the home of the bride, Rev. S. Hart of Granby officiating."

"The relatives and one or two of the neighbors gathered in at John Buxton's and had a real nice supper and Christmas tree with George Geller for Santa Claus. The children as well as the old people were well entertained."

"Mrs. G.W. Harrison brought to this office a big slice of a 74 pound pumpkin that George Geller raised on his farm south of Newtonia. It was of a fine variety and the rind was of a peculiar color partly red. It had been on exhibition at Dr. Harrison's drug store."
"DEATH OF G.W. GELLER
George W. Geller, age 76, a prominent farmer living a mile east of Stark City, passed away at 1:50 p.m. yesterday at his home following a lingering illness.
Mr. Geller is survived by his wife, Mrs. Emma Geller, tow sons, Lee of South Dakota and Elmer of Newtonia, and three daughters, Mrs. Ruby Cockrell of Diamond, Mrs. Mable Hance of Stark City and Myrtle at home.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. today at the hme conducted by the Rev. Ross A. Marcus of Diamond and burial will be in the I.O.O.F. cemetery at Newtonia."
