Helen M. Radford, 80, of Ellensburg, passed away Thursday, April 21, 1994, at her home. She was born May 29, 1913 in Primrose, Nebraska, a daughter of Earl and Lucretia (Patterson) Weaver.
She and Regual Correll were married December 14, 1940 in Ellensburg. She worked for Central Washington University for 10 years in housekeeping. She retired in 1970. Mrs. Radford and Wellington M. (Red) Radford were married December 11, 1970 in Yakima.
Mrs. Radford was a true giving person; assisting her senior citizen friends with transportation and housekeeping. Her other interests included traveling and cards. She was a member of the 3B Card Club, the Eagles, and the Cove School Breakfast Club.
She is survived by her daughter and her husband, Nancy L. and Gene Richards Sr. of Ellensburg; three grandchildren; three great grandchildren; sisters Opal Weaver of Seattle and Isabelle (Neil) Garlock of Selah; and brother Harry Weaver of Yakima. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Regual, a daughter and a sister, Ruth McClure.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 26, 1994, at Steward & Williams Chapel in Ellensburg. The Rev. Steve Lyons will officiate. Concluding service and burial will follow at High Valley Cemetery. Viewing will be Monday, April 25, 1994, at Steward & Williams chapel from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m.
