He was the son of Benjamin Franklin Allison and Clara Stella Janicki was born in Van Dyke (now called Center Line). He died of colon cancer at the age if 19. It is thought that this was caused by the lack of vegetables available during the depression.
His siblings remember him as quite the prankster with a great sense of humor. He also had a deep faith and had expressed an interest in becoming a priest.
When he died at the age of 19 he was 6'9", and it is said that he was buried in a piano case.
