Mrs. Marguerite Kenney Pauline, formerly of 1 Church St., died Monday (Feb. 26, 1979) in the Livingston County Infirmary at Geneseo where she had been a patient for four years. She was 97.

Born in West Sparta, she had lived in Dansville most of her life. For many years, Mrs. Pauline assisted her husband the late Joseph R. Pauline, who was a professional entertainer as a hypnotist. Mrs. Pauline was a member of the West Sparta Methodist Church.

Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Jean Thompson of Dansville and Mrs. Isabell Grant of Rochester; two brothers, Leith and Clyde Kenney, both of Dansville; a grandson, Joseph R. Pauline of Conesus Lake; two nieces.

There will be no calling hours. Private funeral and committal services will be held in the Chamberlin Funeral Home at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery, West Sparta.
