CALLOWAY, JOHN I., JR. - 89, of New Market, passed away Saturday, June 1, 2013, at Jefferson Memorial Hospital. He was a member of Rocky Valley Baptist Church and a US Navy veteran. He was preceded in death by parents, John Sr. and Edna Calloway; sisters, Ruby Cochran and Helen Atkins; brothers, Ralph and Charles Calloway. He is survived by wife, Laura Dance Calloway of New Market; sister, Marie Loy of New Market; sister-in-law, Kathleen D. French; several nieces and nephews. Graveside service 11:00 a.m., Monday, at Jefferson Memorial Garden with Rev. Dwayne Whittington officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Fielden Funeral Home in New Market.
