MAGNA -- Mrs. Wilhelmina Romig, 83, 2726 8700 West, died in a Salt Lake hospital Tuesday at 6 a.m. after a short illness.
She was born in Ingelfingen, Germany, Feb. 15, 1866, and was married to Ludwig Romig in Sunderland, England. Mr. Romig died in 1901.
Mrs. Romig was an active member of the Relief society of the Pleasant Green ward, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Surviving are her son, Karl F. Romig, Pasadena, Cal.; a daughter, Mrs. Anna Ahlquist, Magna; three grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 3 p.m. in the Pleasant Green L D S ward chapel, Magna, by Frank Peel, bishop.
Friends may call at 574 E. 1st South Wednesday evening and Thursday prior to services. Burial will be in Sandy city cemetery.
