Early Life: James was born August 24, 1942, in Waynesburg, Pennsylvania, to Max and Agnes Zabroski Beall. He attended Mapletown High School and Waynesburg College. He served in the United States Army from 1960 and 1962.
Life's Work | Service | Interests: James met the one love of his life, Marita Regrut, and they married August 17, 1968. Together, they raised two children. For over 35 years, he worked for the Federal Aviation Administration for over 35 years. He began his career as an air traffic controller, became a supervisor, then a district manager for Salt Lake International, and finally, a special assistant to the director of the F. A. A. in Washington, D. C. After his retirement, Mr. Beall continued to work part-time as an aviation consultant in a variety of countries. The most memorable consulting job was in Luanda, Africa. During his lifetime, Mr. Beall was an avid pilot, runner, golfer, skier, reader, car mechanic, grill and BBQ master and overall "jack of all trades". He could fix and do just about everything. Mr. Beall was a loyal husband, father, grandfather and had a multitude of dear friends scattered throughout the United States. He was always up for an adventure and loved nothing more than to enjoy time with his family and friends. James passed away peacefully in his home after a long and valiant battle with pancreatic cancer with his daughter, Christina, by his side. He was 70 years old.

Survived By: His wife of 44 years, Marita R. Beall; daughter, Christina Sullivan and husband, Bob; granddaughter, Sammy, who was the apple of his eye; two brothers Charles Beall and John Beall and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Preceded In Death By: His parents and son, Gregory James Beall.
