Eliza V. McCoy was born at Seymour, Iowa on February 4, 1880 to Mr. and Mrs. D. T. McCoy. After their marriage, Mr. and Mrs. Mencke settled in Blair where they lived for two years and then moved to Arlington; from Arlington they went to Amherst, Nebraska; returning to Blair in 1912 where they have since resided.
