| Birth: | Nov. 7, 1908 | | Death: | Feb. 4, 1963 |  Canadian Politician. A native of Trois-Pistoles (Québec), he studied at the College of Lévis and at the Seminary of Rimouski. He worked first within his father’s company in Amqui before moving to Baie-Comeau in 1941 where he opened and owned a haberdasher’s shop until his death. At the general election of June 22, 1960, the electors of Saguenay sent him to the Legislative Assembly of Québec as their Liberal representative. He did not represent himself in 1962. He passed away in Boston (Massachusetts). His father-in-law, Georges-Léonidas Dionne, was a member of the House of Commons from 1925 to 1930. (bio by: Guy Gagnon)
