Arch L. Brower, 66 a resident of Pomona since July, and who lived in the Olden Community his entire life, died at 9 o'clock last night from a heart ailment at St. Francis Hospital in Mtn. View where he was a patient since Wednesday. He was born Feb. 14, 1892 at Olden. He had lived in the Olden Community all of his life moving to nearby Pomona with his wife last July. Mr. Brower, who married, Elizabeth Graham also of the Olden Community Dec 28, 1958, died on his wedding anniversary. He was a member of the Emanuel Baptist Church of Pomona. Surviving are his wife; two sons, Lester Brower, Strafford, Edward Brower. Pomona; four daughters, Mrs. Melvin Hall, West Plains, Mrs. Jim Denton, Peace Valley. Mrs. Esco Green, Brandsville, Mrs. Clifford Brown, Pomona; three sisters, W.N. Byers, Springfield, Mrs. Amos Bridges, Carmi, Illinois., and Mrs. Everett Turner, Long Beach, California.; 33 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Three children preceded their father. Funeral services will be held at 3 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at the Mt. Zion Church near Olden. Interment will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery under the direction of the Carter Funeral Home of West Plains.
