He was a son of James D and Mary (Upton)Barnes of Prescott, Mass. He was born in Prescott and for many years was a farmer and engaged in genereal work in that town. After going to Plymouth he worked in a brass mill.
He leaves his wife Laura S(Peirce) Barnes.
Internment will be at the Quabbin Memorial Park Cemetery, Ware, MA.
