Anna Marie Stover 1941 ~ 2007 Anna Marie Stover, much loved sister and aunt, passed away April 7, 2007 in Murray, Utah. Her family provided prayer and comfort in her final hours. Anna was born February 7, 1941 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Herman and Margarete Stover. Raised in Sugarhouse and attended Irving Junior High and graduated from Highland High School. Retired in 2001 after a long and successful career as an executive secretary for State Farm Insurance. Anna was a tall and beautiful woman who loved books, movies, music, and especially cats. She traveled extensively with friends enjoying theatre and opera. She is survived by her sister-in-law, Dorothy S. (Bert N.) Lacey; nieces and nephews, Michael D. (Madeline) Stover, Carol S. (Ron) Cranfill, Rebecca A. Stover, John D. (Gloria); cousins, Joyce (Brent) Anderson, Heidi (Tom) Leduc, Brigitte (Mike) Lark. Preceded in death by her parents; brother, Herman (Smokey) Stover. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, April 11, 2007, 1 p.m. at Elysian Burial Gardens, 1075 East 4580 South. Arrangements under the direction of McDougal Funeral Home. Donations may be made to the Humane Society of Utah in her memory.
