Paula (Savas) Burke, 65, of Middletown, passed away Tuesday, May 21, 2013, at her residence. She was born in Cincinnati on January 21, 1948 to parents Robert and Marie (Kathman) Savas.
Paula graduated from Seton High School in 1966 and was owner of Consolidated Business Products, Inc. She was a member of Holy Family Parish where she sang with the bereavement choir. She was past president of Browns Run County Club, past president of Family Services of Middletown and former treasurer of Madison Township Life Squad. Paula was an avid golfer and boater.
Paula is survived by her husband of 45 years, Jim Burke (James L. "Jim"); daughters, Tracy (David) Evans & Tara (Chris) Hurlebaus and grandchildren, Kaitlin, Carson & Rowan Evans and Hailey & Reese Hurlebaus.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, May 24, 2013 at 1:00 pm at Holy Family Parish - St. John's Church, 1405 First Avenue, Middletown with Father John Civille as celebrant. Visitation will be Thursday from 5:00 - 8:00 pm at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown.
