Mr. Dartez was born August 17, 1927 in Eros, LA and passed away October 27, 2009 in West Monroe, LA. Mr. Dartez was a truck driver for Bristle Trucking Company and he attended Cypress Street Church of God. He was a Lifetime member of AmVet 066. Mr. Dartez was a World War II veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Annie Ruth Welch Dartez; daughters, Patricia Wilson, husband Douglas, Zoe Keen, husband Chuck; Rebecca Bolding, husband Steve, Cynthia Gowins, husband Steve, Melinda Darst, husband Dennis; John Stewart, wife Sherri, Bruce Stewart, wife Sharon; sister, Kitty Defreese, husband Travis.

Pallbearers will be Chris Williams, Michael Williams, Jerry Aday, Richard Stewart, Jeffrey Wilson and Doug Wilson.
