Mary Katherine Pittman, 75, of Regina, Virginia passed away peacefully May 17, 2013.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Odell Pittman; two sisters, Viola Lackert and Patricia Kellum; a brother, Charles Pittman; a great niece, Marie L. Haydon and a great nephew, John Lackert, Jr.
She is survived by two daughters, Donna P. Dunaway of Kilmarnock, Va., Violet P. Townes of Irvington, Va. and a son, Dennis F. Pittman of Glen Allen, Va.; five grandchildren, Rachel Smith and her husband, Ryan, Robbie Pittman, Justin Pittman, Brandon Dunaway and Shelby Townes; one great grandchild, Diante Smith; ten nephews; two nieces; three longtime friends, Joan Pittman, Bessie Lee K. Harris and Madeline Christopher and also just like family, Mary Barrack and Cryshon Ross.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p. m. Tuesday, May 21, at Currie Funeral Home, Kilmarnock. Friends may call 6:00 to 8:00 p. m. Monday, May 20 at the funeral home.
Interment will be at Morattico Baptist Church, Kilmarnock.
