Fred Zimmerman, Long Employee of Hancocks, Is Dead

Fred Zimmerman, long time employee of the Hancock Implement Co. at Herman, died Saturday at Memorial Community Hospital at Blair. He was 77 years old.

Mr. Zimmerman was a parts manager and service man for the implement company for 46 years and was known to hundreds of farmers in Washington and Burt Counties. He was born in Washington County October 2, 1888, and lived here his entire life. He never married.

He is survived by a brother, Alfred Zimmerman, of Omaha.

Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the Campbell Mortuary in Blair with the Rev. Dale Westadt conducting the service. Burial, under the direction of the Campbell Mortuary, was made in the Blair Cemetery.
