WEYMOUTH, Mass., Feb. 23--
Mrs. Katherine Schofield De
Lorey of East Weymouth died to-
day a few hours after the death
of her husband, Joseph A. De
Lorey. Both had been ill for a
week. They were well known in
American Legion ceircles. Mr. De
Lorey was 46 and his wife 45.
While with the 302d Infantry,
Seventy-sixth Divisision, Mr. De
Lorey was gassed and wounded.
He was a member of the Veterans
of Foreign Wars and was sergeant-
at-arms for more than twelve years
in the American Legion. Mrs. De
Lorey was vice commander of the
Wessaugusset Post, Veterans of
Foreign Wars, and at one time was
acting commander. She also was
a member of the American Legion's
