Funeral services will be held Saturday for Hattie A. Ziegler, 94. Formerly of East County Road 6, Tiffin, she died at 10:20 p.m. Wednesday in Fairhaven Community, Upper Sandusky.

She was born in Crawford County to Cyrus A. and Hattie M. (Bretz) Bartholomew. She was married March 27, 1923, to Calvin G. Ziegler, who died Oct. 20, 1985.

Surviving are a daughter and a son, both of rural Tiffin, a son of rural Sycamore and a daughter of Kissimmee, Fla., 11 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Helen Wax of Fremont.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Alice Bales Crum, in 1995, three brothers, two sisters and a half sister.

A 1920 graduate of Melmore High School, Mrs. Ziegler was a homemaker. She was a member of St. John's Baseline United Church of Christ, its Sunday School Class 1 and Women's Guild.

Rev. Daniel Ward will officiate the services at 2 p.m. Saturday at St.
John's Baseline United Church of Christ where the body will lie in state one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in St. John's Baseline Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Walton-Moore Funeral Home, Sycamore, today from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to St. John's Baseline United Church of Christ or Fairhaven Community, Upper Sandusky.
