Alice I. Crooks, 95, DuBois, passed away Friday, May 10, 2013, at the DuBois Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late J. Wayne Crooks.

Born in Smethport Jan. 1, 1918, she was the daughter of the late Ira W. and Carrie Henry Dunlap.

Mrs. Crooks was a member of the Falls Creek Presbyterian Church.

She was a graduate of Heilwood High School.

Surviving are a son, Jay M. Crooks and wife Sally of Pensacola, Fla.; two grandchildren, David Crooks and wife Lillian of Alabama and Kelley Kardos and husband Amos of Northridge, Calif.; and three great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Joy Crooks; two sisters, one brother and one infant brother

A time to share memories and have an opportunity to view will be from 10-11 a.m. Wednesday at the Mohney-Yargar Funeral Chapel, 142 W. Long Ave., DuBois.

A service to celebrate the life of Alice I. Crooks will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral chapel with the Rev. Robert Henry officiating. Burial will be in Morningside Cemetery, DuBois.
