Mrs. Hamilton
Mrs. Mary Jane Hamilton, 75-year-old widow of John Hamilton Sr., died Wednesday night at a local hospital after a short illness. Her home was 709 North 4th street. Mrs. Hamilton was born at King City, Mo., and had been a St. Joseph resident 46 years. She was a member of the Salvation Army Church.
Surviving are two sons, John Hamilton of St. Joseph and Raymond Hamilton of Kansas City, Mo.; three daughters, Mrs. Ethel Gill, Mrs. Melba Travis and Mrs. Mable Hockaday of St. Joseph; 27 grandchildren and 48 great-grandchildren.
The body is at the Meierhoffer-Fleman mortuary.
