Cowles borned in 1836 Vermont. John Alvin And Alvin are two different people John Alvin was born in and died in New York."

By 1900, Job and Laura were residing with their family in Blair, Washington, Nebraska. Laura was the mother of three, by then adult, children with all three still living and present in the family home.
1910 finds Job and Laura still in Blair with children. Forest and Katie. In 1930, Forest, Katie and their father remained in Blair in the same residence after Laura's death.
