Peyton Sale
Services were held at 10 a.m. Friday for Peyton M. Sale at the Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. B. Frank Walker officiating. Interment followed in the Old Town Cemetery near Haynesville.
Mr. Sale died Wednesday at Minden Medical Center following a long illness. He was 73.
He was a retired farmer and member of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his wife, Hattie Lee Sale of Minden; two sons, Douglas Sale of Minden and William Sale of Springhill; a brother, J.J. Sale of Greenville, Tx.; a sister, Rosalie Alexander of Bel Air, Tx.; and five grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Zeke Youngblood, Charles Lunsford, Lavelle Woods, Archie Smith, Dave Miller, and W.P. Burton.
