Arzella Bowles Wheeler, 91, of Idaho Falls, Idaho, passed away on Wednesday, July 15, 2015, at Life Care Center in Idaho Falls.

Arzella was born on April 9, 1924, in Rigby, Idaho, to Samuel and Sarah Bowles. She grew up in Rigby, Idaho and graduated from Rigby High School in 1942.

On May 20, 1942 she married her true love, Thayne M. Wheeler, at the Salt Lake LDS Temple. To this union came eight children, five daughters and three sons.
She lived in Rigby, Idaho Falls and Swan Valley, Idaho. She was Assistant Manager for East Idaho Credit Union. As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints, she served as Relief Society President.

Azella enjoyed sewing, crocheting, singing in a quartet and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her daughters: Carol (Ed) Nasman, of Boise, Idaho, Shelley (Clint) Crumley, of Idaho Falls, Idaho, Chrys (Ken) Rindlesbach, of Morgan, Utah, Kelley (Gary) Nevels, of Fulton, Missouri; her sons: Jesse (Chris) Wheeler, of San Francisco, California, Scot (Niki) Wheeler, of Midland, Michigan; 37 grandchildren, 103 great-grandchildren and 4 great great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thayne M. Wheeler; her daughter, Tamera Wheeler Clapp; her son, Robert Thayne Wheeler.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, July 18, 2015, at the Park Taylor LDS Ward, 1291 West 65th South, Idaho Falls, Idaho, with Bishop Jestin Hurst officiating. The family will visit with friends from 6-8 p.m., Friday, July 17, 2015, at Coltrin Mortuary, 2100 First Street, Idaho Falls, Idaho and one hour prior to services at the church. Interment will be in the Ririe-Shelton Cemetery.
