Oliver Edward Foster, Cape Fair, MO passed away April 24, 2013. He was born in Stone County August 20, 1929, being one of ten children of Ira and Cassie Foster. Oliver was a veteran of the Korean War who loved playing his guitar and singing bluegrass. He also enjoyed being a part of the restoration of the Wooley Creek School House. Oliver worked for the Reeds Spring School District for many years until his retirement and was a member of the Cape Fair Baptist Church, Cape Fair, MO.

Oliver is survived by his two sons, Lonnie Foster and his wife, Lisa and Monte Foster and his wife, Beatrice; two brothers, Ora Foster and his wife, Mildred and Johnny Foster; three sisters, Oma White, Ernestine Crabtree and Joan Adams; four grandchildren; four great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and four sisters, Jessie, Edith, Jewel and Opal.

A funeral service was held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, April 29, 2013 in the First Baptist Church, Cape Fair, MO.
