Mrs. Brizendine Dead

Willie Belle Brizendine, wife of Houston Brizendine, departed this life, Friday, April 17, at about 10 o'clock p.m., after a lingering illness of about 18 months, aged 36 years, 6 months and 19 days. Mrs. Brizendine was a native of Kentucky but has resided here for a number of years, where she made numerous friends who are deeply grieved at her untimely death. Her husband and two sisters are her immediate relatives who survive. The funeral was held from the residence of Mrs. A. C. Lassiter, a sister of Mr. Brizendine, the services being conducted by Rev. Shoemaker of the Christian church. She was laid to rest in the Weiser Cemetery by the side of her mother, Sunday afternoon, April 20, at 2:30 o'clock.
