John was preceded in death by his parents, Olive Powell Lizer and Elmer Clifford Lizer; his sister, Carole Anne Lizer Green; granddaughter, Heather Olinger Hart.
John is survived by his wife, Annabelle Lizer, of Missouri Valley; daughter, Patricia Ann Lizer-Olinger and significant other, Jerome Niell, of Omaha, Neb.; son, Thomas John Lizer and wife, Debbie, of Reinbeck, Iowa; 8 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren.
