The daughter of Elmer Ellsworth Hinman and Dolla Essie "Dolly" Barnard, Anna Belle worked as a housekeeper before her marriage to Eugene D. "Gene" Quinn in the early 1940's. They were the parents of 1 child, but later divorced.
Children from first marriage: 1 son.
Anna Belle married Oscar Meseke in September of 1966. He was a widower, and their marriage ended in divorce in less than 3 years.
Children from second marriage: None.
Anna Belle worked at the Shoe Factory in Jerseyville for a time and was later self-employed as a home health care provider.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Jerseyville.
At the time of her death at the Reisch Memorial Home, she was 87 years, 8 months and 29 days old. She was survived by 1 son of Curtice, Ohio; 3 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and 2 step-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; 2 sisters, Velma Vanausdoll in 2004, and Essie Deane Hinman, who died in infancy; and 1 brother, Merill Byron Hinman, who died in California in 1998.
Visitation was held before the funeral service on 13 Jun 2005 at Crawford Funeral Home in Jerseyville, Illinois.
The family requested that memorials, if desired, be made to Reisch Memorial Home in Carrollton or to Blessings Hospice in Greene County, Illinois.
