He died sometime after the June 21st, 1880 Census & before the October 24th, 1882 Tax List, but I have assumed he died about 1881.
His son John MARTIN (___. __,c1831 - ___. __,1___) is a mystery, I have no clue what became of him after the June 1st, 1850 Census.
His son James Jasper MARTIN (APR. 7, 1834 - JAN. 25, 1929) {FAG Memorial# 86717381} was originally Buried here, but was moved to the Mount View Cemetery, McMinnville, Warren Co., TN. in the 1950's. {he was the youngest "Twin" of Watson Newton MARTIN}
His son Lewis D. MARTIN (___. __,c1842 - NOV. 19, 1861) served as a Pvt., Company F, 16th TN. Inf. Reg't., C.S.A. & died at Meadow Bluff on Sewell Mountain, Greenbrier Co., VA. (now West VA.)
His son Leonard Charles "aka Len" MARTIN (APR. __, 1848 - MAR. 20, 1924) {FAG Memorial# 81851169} is Buried in the El Bethel Cemetery, Paris, Lamar Co., TX.
I have placed his (my 4th Great Grandfather) memorial here even though I have no proof that he was actually buried here. I will move him to the correct Cemetery if and when evidence is presented to refute it.
