Laura Jane James Lindley was the d/o Samuel "Sam" H. James and Arianna Puckett Redden James, 2nd wife.

Laura's death certificate states that she fell from an automobile onto her head on a public road.

The 1860 Choctaw Co Alabama census showed her family. Laura's mother was Arianna Puckett Redden James which was misspelled Aurena on the census.
